Zhang Yining is still the World Number One by defeating fellow team mate, Wang Nan, 4-1 in the Women’s Table Tennis Gold Medal Final at Peking University on 22th August 2008 (Friday). Guo Yue of China has beaten Singaporean Li Jiawei 4-2 in the bronze medal match earlier.
In short, China still dominates the world of Ping Pong.
