Chinese Young Couples Work Hard For Olympics Fuwa, Many Babies For Beijing 2008
News November 3rd, 2007

Many young couples in China did not go on tours during the 7-day “October 1st” Golden Week (鍗佷竴榛勯噾鍛) which was a week-long National Day holiday for the Chinese in October. Instead, these couples stayed at home and tried to make “Olympics Fuwa” or baby who will be born just the right time for next year’s Beijing Olympics.
Local doctors even agreed that the National Day Golden Week is the best period to lovey-dovey as couples can relax without thinking much of work during this season. 1.8 million babies are estimated to be born during the Beijing 2008 period and really, there’s a lot to handle for the hospitals around the country.
Just don’t name your baby “Olympics” (濂ヨ繍).
