More than 320 000 Want to Volunteer for Beijing Olympics
News February 3rd, 2007
At every Olympics event, helpful volunteers are imperative. For Beijing Olympics 2008, only 100 000 volunteers are needed to help out at the Games. However, the response was overwhelming and more than 320 000 people have applied.
About half the applicants are students and teachers from Beijing universities.
It’s nice to see that many people, no matter young or old, are contributing to a good cause.
