Anne-Caroline Chausso of France captured the first Women’s BMX gold medal in the Olympics first BMX Cycling race. She finished the race in 35.976. Her compatriot, Laetitia le Corguille, took silver with 38.042. Jill Kintner of the United States had bronze with 38.674.
