The second day of the Beijing Olympics was a wet affair.
Nicole Cooke of Great Britain (UK) won a wet gold medal after finishing the 126km race along the Great Wall with 3 hours 32 minutes and 24 seconds in Women’s Road Race (Cycling). Emma Johansson of Sweden and Tatiana Guderzo of Italy took home silver and bronze respectively.
