The second batch of the Beijing Olympic tickets will be sold via a lottery system instead of an online ticketing system which crashed last Tuesday, 30th October. Those lucky souls who have booked the precious tickets at bank branches or through the hotline can get their tickets without any trouble.

People will be able to submit their applications between December 10 and 30, said the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2008 Olympic Games (BOCOG) in a statement, adding that an exact date will be specified later.

The Chinese have to once again, wish Lady Luck is on their side.
